Program Management

Our goal at General Die & Engineering is to provide 100% satisfaction with 100% on time delivery. We strive to provide the best program management to ensure the best quality of our product and also to ensure our customer's needs are fulfilled. Our program management consists of the following:

·         Mold build plan detailing customer needs as well as descriptive build requirements for each department.

·         Design & Engineering check sheets at three different levels to ensure customer action items and build issues are reviewed in a timely manner.

·         A FMEA is reviewed with the customer prior to the mold build to ensure all possible failures are detected and reviewed for both part and tooling issues.

·         CMM Metrology check sheets are completed with the customer to ensure all critical features are checked and controlled.

·         A detailed mold check list is completed at the end of the build and reviewed with the customer prior to shipment. Any non compliant issues will be corrected prior to shipment or shipped with the customer's authorization. Any defect would then be correced after first sample during the first progression of the tool. The mold check sheet is shipped with the tool.

·         Work orders are created detailing any tool corrections or Engineering changes after the initial build.
